France

                                 Welcome to France!

In France they have a few customs that are different then American ones. For example, one of them is the way that they greet each other. Often in the northern part of France when people meet up they kiss one another from one cheek to the next. In the southern part of France they can kiss each other on the cheek up to five times. In America we like to shake hands and often we don’t partake in much physical greetings maybe a hug here in there but that depends on who you are. Basically, saying hi to someone in France may turn out to be a very different experience for an American. Food in France is also served a slightly different; in France they serve their dinner in four parts. There is a  appetizer,  main course, cheeses and bread, and lastly the dessert. Food that we eat in America may taste a little different in France because many if not most chefs in France use only fresh ingredients.
France is filled with lots of culture. Some parts of France that we visited was  Nice and Avignon.Nice being the oldest of all famous winter resorts is called the queen of the Rivera situated on the Baie des anges and surrounded  by the natural amphitheater created by the foot hills of the alps. Promenade in Europe is known for its beach front promenade is known for its fashion edge. Promenade was discovered by the English in the 19th century  Before the 20th century travelers and traders grew frustrated because they needed direction of some sort to have better access to the beach. The area around Nice used to be part of duchy of Savoy and half-French and Italian in language and culture.
